By playing around with different sized and shaped beads I came up with a centrepiece from which the triangles of bugle and cube beads could be added.
Doing this I realised that the triangles began to resemble petals coming out from the centre of a flower, this, and the fact I was using cube beads, gave rise to the name of the series.
