Off to the Knitting & Stitching Show today for some shopping and inspiration.

I swore all the way there that I wasn't going to buy any yarn as I already have crochet projects which have been in progress for a decade at this point....

...and I lasted most of the day but my resistance was weak at the end and I grabbed a blanket making kit (which I'm going to use to make a massive scarf) which I had been eyeing up for at least 3 years. I just couldn't resist the colours any longer.

Wish me luck completing it before the end of 2027...

I love visiting the show as not only are there lots of stands selling lovely things but you get to see a lot of work on display and it was on one of these displays that I discovered the beautiful bead embroidery work of Olivia Smith. her colourful, vibrant and exciting work got me itching to get home and get back to some bead embroidery...
