My lovely friend, Lisa Garoon from City Beads is in London on a flying visit and we figure what better way to send the day than a trip to Buckingham Palace and then onto Liberty to drool over yarn?
The Palace, and the grounds, are just as you would expect them to be - beautiful, majestic and awe-inspiring.
A trip to Liberty is, as always, full of temptation but I remind myself that as much as I know how to knit I haven't yet figured out the physical aspects of it (I just can't settle on a comfortable way to hold the needle and work) and really shouldn't add more yarn to the pile of optimistically purchased yarn from years past.
