Beading And Buying

I spent most of today experimenting with different beaded braids trying to find just the right one for one of my new beading kits which are coming soon...

Then in the evening I headed out to MADE London - Canary Wharf ostensibly to see the lovely Helen Noakes who I met a few years ago but also to peruse all the delights on offer, and there were many to see and choose from.

I especially loved being able to see the work of Vinegar & Brown Paper in real life. I have long admired this online but seeing it was something else. I had a few presents to buy at the show but I may have managed to slip an extra something for myself into my order...

If you're in or near London and can get to the show, which runs until Saturday I really recommend it. It's wonderful to see such beautiful handmade items in real life and with prices starting at less than £10 it's a great way of supporting artists and makers and maybe giving yourself a little treat like I did.
