I'm very excited today to launch my new Caroline Necklace kits and pattern and finally get to show all the different variations I have made in the series.

This is a series of work that has been in progress on-and-off (more off) for a good 7 years and I was only spurred on to finish it by the realisation that the specific Swarovski crystals I use in the main design were discontinued a few years ago and stocks of them were rapidly disappearing. So, if I wanted it to be a kit and a project that people could bead using the materials I originally envisaged it in them I needed to get going on it.

So I found all my original samples & experiments and sat for many hours working away on the project and as it grew so did the variations I wanted to make. In the end I designed 4 different necklaces each with a lot of scope for variation and adaptation.

My next challenge was naming the pieces and I decided to name them after women in my life who have made me laugh, been kind to me and inspired me and so I present to you; Caroline, Carole, Corinne and Kandra
