Phew- what a year!

I had planned for it to be a bit quieter but 2 requests changed all of that when I was asked to write a new book (due out January) and to appear in the LOOT Mad About Jewelry show.

Both brought me a lot of work and over the course of the year I beaded or made over 120 pieces of jewellery plus all the extra samples and experiments that entails.

It's been a crazy rollercoaster of a year in many ways and I'm ready for a break - but 2016 is gearing up to begin and I have to hit the ground running with trips abroad planned for only a few weeks time and as always more requests behind the scenes that I have to keep quiet about for now...

Of course this time of year brings lots of pondering about years past and resolutions to do things differently but this year I'm aiming for something else - in 2016 I want more!

I want more colour, more fun, more sleep, more laughter, more time with friends & family, more beads, more ridiculousness and more of all the good stuff that makes me enjoy life. No 'new year new me' nonsense- I want 'new year more me'!
