I'm still waiting for my new rivolis so I continued working on my newest Onye piece.

This one uses a mix of Delica beads that I got from the beads used in My Favourite Delicas 5 and their opaque finish really compliments the shine of the crystals and the seed beads.

Since we've moved to the new house (I guess after a year I need to stop calling it that) we've got to know our neighbours (not so common in London sadly).

We've built up a regular food exchange with me giving them Tupperware filled with baked goods and them giving us delicious vegetarian curries. Tonight they must have sensed me working away and pondering my conundrum of being hungry but too tired to cook for the doorbell rang and they were there returning my box which they'd kindly filled with freshly popped and buttered popcorn.

Fuelled up I managed to bead for another 4 hours until early in the morning and got the piece done.

Thank heavens for great neighbours.
