Beaded Windows

One of my highlights of 2014 was the Bead & Button show- not least because I got to spend time with friends, especially Dana & Glenda who I shared a room and many laughs with.

I bought many kits on that trip as I have resolved to spend more time doing 'fun' beading - that is beading that I can just follow the instructions and do, or beading that I never have to worry about writing up the instructions for. I'm very lucky in that I really enjoy writing beading instructions and doing diagrams but it does change how you bead something or think about your beading so I thought it would be nice to do some beading with no strings attached.

One of the kits I bought was Windows of Sainte-Chapelle and it's been an on-and-off project ever since. It's a lovely kit to bead and as I add each component it seems to get more beautiful. Now I just need to find the time to finish it.
