I had an early start today and despite it being so mild recently the nights have suddenly grown cold and frost was covering everything as I left home this morning.
It was a joy to wrap up warm and be the first one walking across the grass in the park, the frost causing the grass and leaves to crackle and snap under every one of my foot steps.
