More White

The experience of having my arm being OK yesterday made me a bit too confident and I began today with lots of overhead lifting and I finally tackled some cupboards that needed sorting out.

Soon I was regretting making that decision as I clutched my arm in agony and vomited from the pain. But fortunately my new knight-in-a-tracksuit (or Sir Squats Alot as I like to call him) was coming over and in an hour he had me back to normal and ready to face the world again.

Covered in sports tape I was really pleased when the postman came with some of the new fabric I'd ordered to complete my quilt. After being inspired earlier this year by the use of white I've decided to try and use it a lot more and as I looked at all this fabric the other day I realised it just looked like a mish-mash and needed some separation and definition- and white was the obvious answer.

Already even just laying some white strips over my still unsewn blocks I love it more than I did and can't wait to actually get going on it.
