City Beads Chicago - Day 2

posted: Friday, 04 April 2014

Back at City Beads today and the class is Tila Geometrics.

Lisa Garoon at City Beads, like some other places I teach, puts out some bead and colour selections before each class to help people to choose and I love this idea and personally am always inspired by the choices selected and love to see them come to life over the day.

Today's two projects are both reversible/ rotatable which means people can use up to 5 different Tila colours (or more if they want to add in extra) so they get lots of different projects for the same amount of beading- something I love.

After class Lisa, Gabrielle van Diepen, Jeroen Medema (Gabriella's lovely husband and also a great beader!) and Shelley Nybakke (who came to the class and whose bracelet I recently featured in Small Beads, Big Jewellery) all went for dinner to the lovely Bistro Campagne where we dined and talked beads.
