Phew - my first batch of new projects for the book and all their instructions are done and ready to hand in. I have also done all the instructions I need to for the other contributors and am starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. Just in time for the countdown for the next batch to begin!

I was so busy last year I didn't get to see the Knitting & Stitching Show so when a friend told me they were putting on a spring show in London I was very excited- even more so when I realised it was another great excuse to see Merle again.

I love learning new things and really feel you just can't beat an actual in-person class where you can interact with the teacher, ask questions and get feedback. I find that no matter what the class may be billed as, I can get so much more out of the time

It's still very warm and I'm still tired so today is pretty much like yesterday except for a visit to a restaurant for a wood fired pizza and a mozzarella ball as big as a baby's head.

These two new projects use a mix of cylinder beads, rivolis and eyes (which I got recently from John Vidakovic) to create pendants and interlocking components. It's a few months since I started them and they just need minor tweeks and then they'll be finished

I am such a wimp sometimes it's annoying. I'm like an ostrich with my head in the sand but instead I'd much rather hide my head in my crochet than deal with tricky tasks but today I outdid myself with facing scary things.
