Triangular Love

I guess you know by now I sometimes bead triangles. That and stars are the main things I guess I'm 'known' for. They're the pieces that whenever I teach, and bring beadwork along, people say 'I saw that in a magazine'. They're such bold standout pieces that I guess they stick in people's minds- which is great. Much better to be known for some of my beadwork than for any of the other stuff I get up to in my secret life as a ...*

Anyway, back to beading. I have written before about how I began beading triangles and they're very much on my mind today as I think about the book I'm working on and then I saw this on the internet. Yikes! A whole video workshop featuring me demonstrating triangles, their multiple possibilites and lots of projects. Who could resist?!?!?

I had an amazing time filming in Colorado earlier this year and I'm equally excited and nervous about seeing the finished result. If you want a physical copy, or digital download (or any patterns by me available through Interweave) then click here. If you want to know more about the workshop (there is one on pentagons coming later in the year...) and maybe more about me, make sure you're signed up to the Beading Daily email....

On a completely unrelated note here is one of the stars I have been working on for the book. It still needs turning into a finished piece and that which will happen tomorrow when I get a chance to pop to the bead shop.

*all rumours of me having a secret life are false. Well, unless you count the time...
