Mixing And Matching

I'm still busy working on book projects, this time a new version of my Geometric Secret pendants which uses larger beads and an extended shape, with a new pattern, resulting in a bigger pendant with more room to hide secrets in...

I had a rough idea of the colours I wanted to use before I started, and knew that I especially wanted a mix of matte beads to contrast with the shiny metallic I also planned to use. But creating a mix for only a few grams can be hard when you want to use over 25 colours. And going through my colours it seemed that that amount was all that would please me. I wanted just the right combination of golds, bronzes, greens, blues, lilacs etc with just the right amount of spots of red. How else was I going to achieve that with less bead colours?!?!?

So it just had to be done that this matte mix will be included as part of the book kit I'm selling which gave me the perfect excuse to get big bags of beads out and create a few hundred grams of a colourful cacophony...any excuse to play with beads! The kit will also contain all the other beads, findings and chain etc you need to make 1, or 2, of these pendants plus much, much more...
