I have had an idea in my mind for a herringhbone rope with a beaded clasp for quite a while now and whilst I have pondered and slept on the design, working out all the kinks and problems I can think of, the time has come to put beads to thread.

Of course it immediately doesn't want to do what I want it to do. But a few stops and starts later my idea and the physical reality begin to meet somewhere in the middle and the idea becomes a reality. Now I just need to finish it.

I have also been spending my days packing up and sending out kits, which can be fiddly, but I really enjoy it. I get to see all those colours I had chosen and the packs come to life with the extras I put in from postcards and little kits to sweets and finished rosettes. I also got to look again at all the colours I have chosen for some new kits, more details tomorrow...
