Polymer Clay Class

I spent today on a class with Christine Dumont learning how to make her "Cocoons and Pods".

I love playing with polymer clay so was really looking forward to today- and wasn't disappointed.

A major source of irritation in beading is trying, and failing, to get hold of just the right colour bead you need for a project and with polymer clay that all disappears- you simply make just the right colour yourself!

The beads are nice and easy to make and I love playing with patterns to decorate the surface.

After class I popped to the nearby Lambs Conduit Street to look in some fabulous designer homeware and jewellery shops as well as a lovely grocers where I treated myself to some incredible peanut butter containing garlic, chilli and shrimp!

Unfortunately some of my beads weren't baked and didn't survive the journey home, so I'm busy figuring out if they can be saved or I have to kiss them goodbye.
