Today was a trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum to meet up with friends and absorb some more culture.
My friends were the great beaders Liz Thornton and Jill Devon and it was a treat to catch-up and see and hear what they'd been up to.
I have to admit we spent most of the day sitting and chatting rather than actually looking at any exhibits!
But between tea, coffee and lunch breaks we did mange a visit to the jewellery exhibition which was nice, if overwhelming with all they have on show.
One of the great things about the museum is that wherever you are there is beauty to look at. This photo was taken whilst we had afternoon tea and shows some of the rooms in the cafe.
