Missing Beads

There has been a distinct lack of beading happening in this house so far this year and it took me a while to work out why.

I just felt as though I really could not be bothered and so avoided any at all- and then it hit me.

Both of my two recent projects (the beaded snake and sea urchin) had hit the point where I needed to decide whether to chop them up and start again, or carry on.

And as I'm hopeless at making these decisions (well not really, I know what I need to do- start again- but just can't bring myself to do it at the moment) I had avoided them completely.

So, once I had that figured out I was raring to go again.

I decided to finish the sea urchin first and was poised ready with the scissors when I realised that the dagger beads I needed weren't there. They had disappeared from my beading tray.

An hour later after much searching I still hadn't found them and along the way had lost all my beading enthusiasm again so did some more wirework instead.
