Happy Thanks Giving and much hospitality was shown to me with 2 invitations to visit people's homes.
First up I got to see the parade from possibly the best location available.
We were at the perfect height to see the inflatables- the movie version of Thanks Giving.
Then it was onto the cinema to see possibly the most harrowing film I have ever seen- The Road. About 2 minutes in I thought I wouldn't be able to stand it!
Onwards to a very kind family who hosted me for dinner.
I spent last Thanks Giving having a very beige meal in what looked like an old people's home in Florida so didn't have high hopes for this years meal- and was proved completely wrong!
I had lots of incredible food and wine and the company was great. You can't really complain when someone takes the time to make mongrammed soups can you?
