Today is the 2nd day of my medal making class and involves more plaster, wax, carving and working backwards.
I discovered I am not an expert at working backwards and easily baffled as to what way round I need to write or carve- tracing paper definitely helps!
After a tiring day I leave my 3 medals to be sent for casting (the foundries, like much of Paris, are shut for August) and head off for a dinner of fish and chips and fall exhausted into bed.
